Novel Concepts of Innate Immunity 2023 in Tübingen
Save the date: 31 May - 02 June 2023
The third Symposium Platelets, within the framework of the CRC/TR240 "Platelets – Molecular, cellular and systemic functions in health and disease", will take place from 24th to 26th October 2019 in Tübingen. An overview of the program and the confirmed speakers can be found here:
The conference “Novel Concepts in Innate Immunity” was first held 2015 in Tübingen in commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the Toll receptor gene in Tübingen and now takes place every two years. The next meeting was scheduled for 26 to 28 May 2021.
We are pleased to have hosted notable keynote speakers so far such as Nobel laureates Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard (Tübingen, DE) and Jules Hoffmann (Strasbourg, FR) in 2015, Giorgio Trinchieri (Bethesda, MD, US) in 2017 and Nobel laureate Bruce Beutler (Houston, TX, US) in 2019.
The 2019 conference featured several exciting sessions on various aspects of Innate Immunity, presented by internationally acclaimed speakers. Furthermore, abstracts selected for oral presentations or lightning talks, and a poster session completed the program. With 200 scientists from all around the world and editors from notable journals attending, NCII 2019 provided an exciting meeting within this expanding field of research. 2021 we hope to accomplish the same:
Confirmed Speakers for NCII 2021: Richard Flavell (Keynote), Vishva Dixit, Luke O’Neill, Mihai Netea, James Chen, Jürgen Ruland, Eicke Latz, Andrea Ablasser, Hao Wu.
With future meetings we hope to continue to provide an attractive platform for bringing together leading experts, researchers, clinicians and students interested in immunological research by aiming to always feature some of the latest trends in the highly dynamic field of innate immunity.
